Fast Forward is an annual lecture series hosted by NICAI's School of Architecture and Planning. The lectures present the recent and current work of leading practitioners in the fields of architecture, planning and urban design, including those working at national and international levels. This coming series includes lectures by two internationally renowned architects, as well as sessions focussing on the Auckland Supercity. The School believes that presenting the work and concerns of leading practitioners is crucial in supporting the ongoing debate, discussion and development in the fields of architecture and planning.

NZS 6806: Assessment and Mitigation of Traffic Noise from New & Altered Roads
The first ever New Zealand Standard for addressing road traffic noise associated with new and altered roads was published in April 2010. Half day workshops are being offered to help potential users understand the standard and its on-going implementation.
