Conference App to Support Your #NZPIC24 Experience
NZPI Conference 2024 will come with a digital extra, our Conference App – kindly sponsored by CoLab. We continue to advocate for the move toward a digitally enabled planning system. In keeping with this, our especially tailored app will provide quick and easy access to information about conference. Once you’ve registered for #NZPIC24 you’ll be able to access information like the day’s schedule, venue floorplans, exhibitors, sponsor links, and more.
Meet you Online
Add to the conference chat by asking us questions as we lead into conference. Next week we’ll open it up to a live event stream where you can post the conference latest news, quote our inspiring speakers, and tell us about your trips in the field at #NZPIC24. NZPI has you covered with Free wifi throughout Claudelands Arena.
Once all logged in and live you’ll be able to use the app to:
Connect – Conference is about connection and the app will allow you to view a list of all the conference attendees.
Search Speakers – Use the app to view all of the conference speakers heading the plenary sessions and breakout workshops. You’ll be able to see their biographies and their thought provoking abstracts. You’ll also be able to make sure you’re in the right place and further details about the session they are presenting in.
Exhibitor or Sponsor Search – Everyone loves an exhibition hall. The Exhibitor/Sponsor Search allows you to find exhibitors or sponsors, and if permissions are granted, send them a message.
Programme - This is where you can view the full conference programme.
Someone’s Taking Notes – You can use the app to take general notes about any topic. Each note is automatically saved, with the first line becoming the title. A few words from the entered note and the date and time the note was taken is also recorded. All notes can be exported for further use and the export is combined with session notes on separate tabs on a spreadsheet.
My Photo - Upload your photo here and it will display next to your name on the list of attendees in the app. Go on, don't be shy!
Prize Draw – Click the prizes tab to see what you can win, then click the Goals tab to see how to enter. Tick off all the goals for more chances to win. All winners drawn at the conference close, you must be there to receive your prize.
News – this is where the organisers will send you updates, important notices and notifications.
Conference Chat – It’s like a social media feed, share your comments and post a photo!
