Fast Forward is an annual lecture series hosted by NICAI's School of Architecture and Planning.

The lectures present the recent and current work of leading practitioners in the fields of architecture, planning and urban design, including those working at national and international levels. This coming series includes lectures by eminent local and international architects, as well as sessions focussing on particular issues in Auckland and Christchurch. The School believes that presenting the work and concerns of leading practitioners is crucial in supporting the ongoing debate, discussion and development in the fields of architecture and planning.

The 2014 lectures are the sixth Fast Forward series, with eight lectures and an election debate taking place from mid-July to mid-October.
