Lincoln University’s new Master of Planning degree has received Provisional Accreditation from the NZPI. The MPlan replaces the previously accredited Master of Environmental Policy as the accredited masters pathway to NZPI membership at Lincoln. It includes increased additional planning content in its core and although considered a primarily taught course degree it now includes a compulsory research dissertation. This completes the revamping of Lincoln’s professionally accredited planning programmes to clearly distinguish between professional planning and the various environmental management and policy degrees offered by the University. In addition to the MPlan Lincoln continues to offer the four year undergraduate NZPI accredited Bachelor in Environmental Policy and Planning (Hons) (BEPPHons).
