GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE

GREATER MINDS THINK ANEW

The New Zealand Planning Institute is now calling for presentation abstracts for the 2017 Annual Conference, ‘Changing Places’.

#changingplacesNZ

Changing Places, 4 – 7 April, 2017.
TSB Bank Arena, Wellington.
CPD Pts: 25.

The 2017 Planning Conference seeks speakers who are inspired by changing places.

The planning profession has a history of shaping the environment in which we live. Some change has been for the better, and some has had unintended consequences. This change impacts on both our natural and our built environments. With Wellington as it’s backdrop, next year’s conference challenges speakers to be guided by our four themes: Compact / Capable / Creative / Capital.

From RMA reforms and how these will change the planning landscape, to innovative uses of social media, and the future of transport networks in New Zealand, NZPI is offering you the opportunity to inspire the planning community by demonstrating your innovative ideas and approaches, and share your learning experiences.

We want to hear from all planners and those involved in planning from across the country and beyond, from planners just starting out to those in the twilight of their career, and everyone between.

Young Planners, this is an opportunity to come forward with your ideas about how planning can inspire, how existing and new processes can be innovative, and finally how the implementation of planning can be involved in changing places for future generations.

BE PART OF THE CHANGE!
