Planning Jobs Online is a Unique Job Board for Planners Working Within and Beyond NZ.

Jobs online offers you the opportunity to specifically target qualified planners. With over 2000 NZPI members receiving job alerts every week through both the NZPI website and its weekly newsletter, "Planning Focus", this is a great place to advertise your vacancy and attract quality candidates.

Use the below form to submit your advertisement. Please note, advertisements should be lodged with NZPI before Wednesday 11am if you wish your advert to be posted that week.

The NZPI Jobs Board service will be closing Thursday 20th December, we'll be resuming Thursday 17th January 2019.

All listings placed on 20th December will stay up until 24th of January unless the application date has closed – if you would like to submit a booking, please complete the online form found here below.

Advertising Fees

Before commencing the lodgement of your advertisement please note the following Fees: All fees are in NZD, non - commission bearing and GST inclusive.

  • Intern (Targets Students) - Free

  • Part-time Positions, Fixed-term Positions (12 months or less) and Planning Support Positions (any level) - $125

  • General Position Announcement - $750

    • You can use this option if advertising more than 3 positions.
    • You must use this option if you have an advertisement that doesn't specify how many positions are available (i.e. if your advert is titled 'Seeking Planners").

    This is a great option for large organisaitons wanting to fill various planning positions, in various offices nationwide. Please note: The advert should only have the company profile and a list of available positions - No job descriptions please, click here to view sample.

  • Standard Advertisement -

    • Less than 1 year experience required - $250
    • 1-2 years experience required - $400
    • 3-5 years experience required - $600
    • 6 / 6+ years experience required or a Manager/Team leader Position - $750

    If your position description does not specify the amount of experience required, we will calculate the fee using the NZPI fee guideline, click here.

Social Media

As part of our service we place a general announcement on our social media pages - please see below links; this is normally done a few days after our e-bulletin goes out to give members a chance to respond first.

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must contact NZPI on 09 520 6277 before Wednesday 11am to avoid a cancellation fee of $25.00. If the advert has already been distributed you will be invoiced the full amount.
