Presentation of a Vision
for the Auckland Port site:
Last year, the Archimedia team headed by Lindsay Mackie released a proposal for
an alternative use of the port land featuring apartments, offices, an underground
cultural centre, new beaches, a 40m wide canal, a 'volcano' and even a stadium.
Hailed by the NZ Herald as a "Bold Vision for the Waterfront", the
proposal sparked much interest and debate.
The Auckland Branch of the NZPI is pleased to have Lindsay present the proposal.
