We are holding a repeat of this event for those who were unable to make it to the meeting on 5 May. This is a great chance to hear a little more about PlanTechNZ and then to engage in small discussion groups to give your opinion on the issues PlanTechNZ should address and how we go about doing this.

The steering group of PlanTechNZ is pleased to hold our first members event. Given the current situation, this will be an online event held over zoom. This event will provide more information on the group and provide the opportunity to meet other members. A key purpose of PlanTechNZ is to provide a forum for planners to engage with each other on the role of emerging technologies in the future of planning practice so we wanted to hold an online event which gives the chance for all members to actively participate to get these connections going.

The event has two parts:

Part One:Presentation (30 mins)
- Introduction to the group and its purpose
- Overview of proposed workplan for 2020
- Ways to participate in the group

Part Two: Group Discussions (60 mins)
- Introduction to key questions to be discussed
- Discuss these questions in smaller groups (approx 8 planners) in breakout rooms
- Report back

Registrations close at 9.00am on Monday 18th May. For any late registrations please email events@planning.org.nz
