During this lunchbox session Dr Lee Beattie
considers the opportunities and challenges for urban growth management and the
role that urban planning and urban design could play in a post Covid 19 New
Zealand. In doing so he will consider how reduced travel demand could
lead to the creation of more local, resilient communities with higher active
travel options and how we could reshape our neighbourhoods from the global to
the local.
