To celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, Canterbury Westland NZPI Branch and Canterbury Westland Emerging Planners are proud to present:

"The importance of Te Reo and Maori planning in New Zealand's urban and regional environments".

This session will provide an insight into the Maori world view (Te Ao Maori) and how it can be woven into our professional practice as planners. Te Reo Maori will be one topic of focus, this will involve demonstrating how it can be used in everyday conversation, writing and actions. The other topic of focus will be on Maori planning and how it can be applied to urban and regional planning to help achieve better outcomes for the environments we live, work and play in. The speakers synopsis are to follow in due course.

We look forward to seeing you on the 30th of September at Aurecon's Christchurch office - Level 2, Iwikau Building, 93 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch 8013

Note: In terms of COVID-19 Alert levels, we will be looking to hold this event in person if we are fortunate enough to be in Level 1, however, there is the opportunity to continue with the event online, through a live video link should we remain in Level 2.
