JOB OPPORTUNITY AT NZPI: Operations Manager

The New Zealand Planning Institute is looking for an OPERATIONS MANAGER to join its growing team. Reporting to the CEO this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organisational effectiveness by providing leadership of NZPI’s operational functions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Improving the HR, IT and finance systems, processes and policies in support of the New Zealand Planning
  • Institute’s Strategic Plan.
  • Management of staff
  • Oversight of financial management, planning, systems and controls.
  • Providing leadership support to the CEO when required



To be successful for this role, you have:

  • At least 3 years experience in Financial Management
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word and outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Thorough understanding of Zero accounting system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done



The Operations Manager is offered on a 0.6 permanent basis. The hours of work are to be negotiated with the CEO.
