Join us in Tauranga for the 2018 NZPI Annual Conference!
#NZPIConference2018
We are pleased to announce registrations for the 2018 Breaking New Ground Conference are now open! The
ground is at the heart of planning. When we build, we must break
ground. In a figurative sense, planners must constantly break new ground
by adopting new technologies and fresh approaches to planning practice.
This
year’s NZPI Conference, Breaking New Ground, picks up on these themes
by looking at new methods influencing professional practice, as well as
planning for both growth and decline. Breaking New Ground will be hosted
in Tauranga, a key urban hub located within the thriving regional
economy of the Bay of Plenty. Such economic growth does not come without
its challenges, and the conference will focus on the pressures of
growth and development on our natural environment.
Help us break
new ground! Each year the conference draws planning leaders, Iwi, and
practitioners from local government, universities and consultancies,
into a forward focussed discourse on the challenges and opportunities
ahead in relation to planning best practice and implementation.
