NZPI has recently joined an exciting initiative called Planners for Climate Action (P4CA) which was convened by UN-Habitat. P4CA is comprised of associations of planning practitioners and planning educators, collectively representing tens of thousands of planners worldwide, as well as other partners, who are actively engaging with climate action. If you would like to find out more, you can visit their website .
Today they are launching a Global Call to Urban Planners for examples of urban planning projects or initiatives that engage with climate action. This is an opportunity for you to contribute to a new global knowledge base of how the planning community is engaging with the crucial topic of climate change in an increasingly urbanizing world. The outputs of this mapping exercise will be fed into an initial database from which regional good practices will be selected and shared as part of the Planners for Climate Action visibility and advocacy work.
If you have a best practice and project to share please click here to complete the form. Submission deadline 22nd April
On behalf of P4CA, thank you in advance for your engagement with this initiative.
